One of the smaller regions of the Mid Rim, the Western Reaches were once considered the new frontier for the Republic, and have long been a home to many diverse species looking to explore the “untouched” Trailing Sectors of the Outer Rim. During the Clone Wars the majority of the Western Reaches would throw in with the Separatists, and the region became the site of many battles. Even after the Confederacy’s defeat, the Empire has struggled with open war against Separatist Holdouts here to this very day.
