The largest region of the Outer Rim, the New Territories are filled with rugged colony worlds which have only recently united under their own government, the League of Free Planets. Much like the denizens of this territory, the League strikes a defensive, isolationist posture, with a goal of protection and non-interference. The New Territories are rich with minerals and agrarian worlds, as well as trade which flows through it from the Corporate Sector. The Imperial DMZ extends awkwardly into the New Territories from the south, following the Perlimian Trade route northward until it reaches the former Confederate capitol world of Raxus, cutting it off from the galaxy.
