Hutt Space

Nestled within the Outer Rim is Hutt Space, a region which has been under control of the Hutt Clans since time immemorial. Once the Hutts ruled through sheer might, but after many crushing military defeats cost them much of their territory, they transitioned to the philosophy of kajidic: a family-clan structure that emphasizes indirect control of others through commerce. This most often comes in the form of crime, which continues to be their number one export. As greed and corruption swells within their borders, true power has transitioned away from the government and into the hands of the Hutt Cartels.
