Corporate Sector

The smallest region of the Outer Rim, the Corporate Sector was once an unscrupulous free trade zone for Republic businesses located far from the Core worlds’ prying eyes. The Empire endorsed the takeover of this region of space by a corporate conglomerate lobby a year after the conclusion of the Clone Wars, creating the Corporate Sector Authority. Today the region is home to countless ruthless capitalist industries, which the galaxy at large turns a blind eye to as long as the wealth continues to flow from its borders.
