Title: Corellian Run Astrometrics and Salvage Contracts
Source: Imperial Bureau of Standards, sent to all Imperial contractors licensed for salvage or astrometrics
Date: Month of Aldera, 3638 ATC
Attention:
The Imperial Bureau of Standards Astrogation Department (Bureau) is seeking Licensed Imperial Professionals to perform work within a section of the Corellian Run Hyperspace Lane between the planets Milagro and Herdessa (work area). The Task Orders are as follows;
1) Clear debris away from the work area
2) Conduct astrometric surveys of the work area
3) Perform maintenance on hyperspace buoys within the work area
4) Process cartographic data and produce up-to-date star charts of the work area
Licensed Imperial Professionals seeking contracts must report to the Bureau Regional Office located within the Chaykin Military Complex in the southern hemisphere of Milagro to submit a fee schedule for approval. Verification of chain codes and licensure will be required before entry is granted. Separate contracts will awarded per Task Order once the contractor's fee schedule has been approved.
Professionals awarded contracts have full authority to operate in open space along the work area, but are responsible for negotiating their own access agreements with local star systems if the contractor determines they need to operate within the orbit of an inhabited world.
Contractors performing work under Task Order 1 may remove, destroy, or salvage debris encountered within the work area at their own discretion. Contractors must document all debris cleared and deliver this record at the conclusion of their contract. Any debris the contractor elects to salvage will be recovered at their own expense. Salvage over 1000 tons must be reported to the Imperial Bureau of Standards before the contractor takes ownership.
Contractors performing work under Task Order 3 will be provided with the temporary security clearance needed to operate on the Corellian Run hyperspace buoys while at the Chaykin Military Complex. All maintenance tasks must be documented and delivered at the conclusion of the contract. Temporary security clearance will be relinquished at the conclusion of the contract.
All astrometric survey and cartography deliverables produced as part of Task Order 2 or Task Order 4 under this contract are the exclusive property of the Bureau. Contractors may not resell or share maps, data, or other deliverables with third parties.
At the conclusion of work, the contractor must again report to the Bureau Regional Office on Milagro to close out their contract. All deliverables are to be submitted at this time. Payment for deliverables will be awarded according to the agreed upon fee schedule at their receipt.
