Biography:
Early Years in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant
Marya Dune and her twin sister Teagan Dune were taken from their parents at the age of 6 off the planet Lothal, a system located on the frontier ridge of the Outer Rim directly bordering the Calamari Sector. They were to join the Jedi order in Coruscant under the tutelage of Master Lilith. After their initial training they participated in the Gathering and discovered a twin pair of yellow kyber crystals for the crafting of their lightsabers. Before Teagan could craft hers back on Coruscant, she was deemed to be unfit by Master Lilith and taken to a rehabilitation facility. At least that is what Master Lilith told Marya. No matter how much Marya tried, she would not give her any more information about Teagan. She claimed a Jedi should not hold on to emotions since they corrupt your use of the Force. Master Lilith gave Marya an ultimatum, stop asking about Teagan and continue her training as a Jedi or Marya could leave the Jedi order. Marya decided to stay but her choice was made for her. How else would she survive? Her opinion of the Jedi had been forever tainted.
Duality
Marya focused on engineering the perfect twin-bladed saber following her loss of Teagan. The beams would each have one of the kyber crystals she and Teagan collected in the Gathering. The first year was studying the construction of famous sabers in the archives. She had multiple approved outings to meet with famous Jedi to review their craft. Most notably Master Kenobi. The second year, she would begin her construction. After 14 months, she finally finished her masterpiece. A twin-blade saber so stable that the golden beam looked like glass. The hilt could be split down the middle into two separate blades, one for her sister when she finally finds her. She had manifested her emotions into this blade, creating perfection. In a way, this was her fighting back against the teaching to avoid one's feelings. This saber solidified her resolve to leave the order, but only after she received more training.

Master Vesper
Marya and Master Lilith were separated by the council. Unknown to Marya, Master Lilith had gone missing. Marya was relocated to train under Master Vesper, a Jedi Knight recently given the title of Master. He would train her on Coruscant and at his conclave on Naboo. Marya and Master Vesper got along well. Master Vesper decided that Marya would make an excellent Jedi Sentinel. He would focus on her strengths; engineering, subterfuge, tracking, and investigation. Master Vesper would instigate verbal duels nightly about anything and everything with Marya, training her to think outside the box first and foremost. Increasing her engineering talents would be a fruitless endeavor, she would only craft nonsensical items. It would seem her lightsaber was a one-time event. Marya excelled in the other skills. Often completing Master Vesper's challenges hours ahead of time. He knew she would cheat by following him and gathering his notes on the exams he created for her. That was the out-of-the-box thinking he had drilled into her. After a few years of bookwork, Master Vesper had decided it was time for Marya to complete a real investigation. An actual mission. Master Vesper and Marya would begin her first official mission for the Jedi council on the fateful day of the Assault on Naboo. They were on their way to the Outer Rim to investigate a lost cargo vessel. Master Vesper was informed of the attack and told to find a local planet and lie low as a precaution to a larger scale assault on the Republic. "Keep your padawan safe." This was the last message Vesper would receive from his master. After two months, Vesper and Marya returned to Coruscant for continued training. Master Vesper was no longer a friendly face to Marya, he was a general. This was a time for war. Marya's battle training would begin.
15 years later
Marya has successfully completed her apprenticeship despite her disdain for the Jedi order. She masked it quite well from her master and the council. She is an investigator for the order and sent on long range missions to find missing persons. Master Vesper had approved of the position immediately as it crossed his desk. Jedi Sentinel Marya would go on many missions during this time all of which seemed inconsequential. Find a missing farmer who was related to some politician, find a missing cargo vessel that belonged to some official, etc. On what would become her final mission she was tasked with boarding a heavy freighter, a Ranger-class YTS-40, to investigate a missing Jedi, Master Lilith herself, a mission disguised as a cargo delivery and hand-picked for her from Master Vesper. She would meet Raul Gonthulez, a charismatic man who asked no questions and was a master at his own craft, cargo deliveries and manifest scrambling. During this flight, Order 66 was issued. Her conclave on Naboo was destroyed, Master Vesper was felled in battle and she was alone. She felt what Vesper must've felt when his master perished. True emptiness. She used the fall of the Jedi as an opportunity to escape her old life. She could finally search for Teagan, Jedi rules be dammed. Utilizing her skills she became a bounty hunter by the alias, Mirage. She and her crew, Raul Gonthulez, aboard the YTS-40 would agree to stay together. They each had knowledge about their previous affiliations. It was safer this way. They could search the stars for Teagan and eventually, Master Lilith.

The Truth Behind Teagan
Teagan would be trained by Master Lilith, or more aptly called, Darth Lilith for those decades she was missing from the Jedi temple. Her skill with a lightsaber was unmatched. A true perfectionist unlike her mess of a sister, Marya. Teagan was told that Marya chose to stay with her peers on Coruscant and train with the others avoiding the increased workload of the specialized training. Teagan hated her sister. How could she deny this once in a lifetime opportunity because of additional work? How could Marya choose laziness over her twin? It was a betrayal she could not forgive.
Completing her training ten years later, she would rise and be named Darth Mirra. A twisted reflection of the twin sister she left behind. She would craft and wield two crimson lightsabers. Once for each dead twin.

Notable Bounties
After evading the Empire for a few years, Mirage learned of a high-ranking Imperial officer offering an enormous bounty on any known Jedi. To protect herself, she took a risky job to hunt down the officer who put a price on her head. This took her and her crew deep into Imperial territory, where they staged a series of ambushes and heists to get close to Admiral Noctac, the issuer. Along the way, they ended up confronting an Imperial Inquisitor aboard a small intercept craft. Mirage was forced to use her Jedi skills more openly than she has in years, which put everyone in her crew at risk. It was a short and succinct battle with Mirage killing the Inquisitor and his crew. Afterward, she fell back into the Outer Rim with her crew to lay low and recuperate from the damages. Later on she had learned this Inquisitor had a bounty on his head from a Hutt, a certain Jabba from Tatooine. This Inquisitor had tried to blackmail Jabba. A mistake no one has a chance to make twice. She turned this in quickly for a substantial payout. Using this cash she hired two more crew, Graves and Fargo. These two guns for hire were rambunctious and happy. Her odd all-human crew of four would pick up bounties from the Hutt's all around the Outer Rim. This marked the beginning of her career. Raul and Mirage learned quickly that it was safer to work volume. Smaller bounties but more plentiful. Raul would get a cargo delivery lined up to match the bounty, then scramble the manifest to blot out the obvious line of murders happening across the galaxy that matched our delivery route. Pulling in our money from bounties and some good pay from the deliveries, it was a great gig. Mirage would usually lower her price if the person paying out the bounty knew any info regarding Teagan. Jabba seemed to know something but he wasn't willing to share information unless it was correct. He is probing his leads currently and Mirage already knows it'll come at a high cost.
Personality: Mirage is scrappy. She’s fun loving, scattered and always tinkering on her next project. A harsh but caring leader and a heavy drinker. It would be hard to find her without a buzz going. In recent years, her distillery project has infiltrated her combat style. A loose form, force slinging, blade throwing tornado of chaos. A true mess.
Journal entry #M137: (Mirage)
Mirage: "I recently finished Donk, a droid made from collected garbage. He’s alright. He’s always getting things wrong. He’s my brewmaster. He’s supposed to make good beer but dammit he always messes up the ingredients. Somehow the booze still gets us drunk so it can’t be that bad. The crew likes him. Oh yea, I also made Konk. He’s a gonk droid turned into a keg. Now there’s a droid that does his job. He’s a container…. He…contains the beer. I’m getting sidetracked. Maybe I shouldn’t have drank before doing this. Shoot I left the oven on!"

Journal entry #G4203: (Loadmaster Raul Gonthulez)
Raul: "She broke the oven again. I’m taking it out of her pay. I don’t care that she fronts 65% of our income. I provide 35% of our stability and I want a working oven at least half the time. sigh It’s fine. Donk made a good batch this week. About time. Just in time for my birthday. 41. A good age for a loadmaster. That's what my dad used to say. If only he could see what the YTS-40 looked like now."
Mirage: (yelling from another room) “You mean the Dumpster Fire?”
Raul: "We are not calling it that! Also, I told you to stop eaves dropping on me!"
Mirage: “Oh you like it, also stop flirting with me. It’s weird, you’re like 40.”
Raul: (rubs temples) "What goes on in her head? Anyways, we are 2 days from port. We’ll make the delivery and take a vacation. Finally."

Ramp Camera Recording #K2548: (Graves and Fargo)
Fargo: (walking up ramp) "Wow, this ship is incredible."
Graves: (standing on ramp) "Yea. Incredibly garbage. Why do we always get hired for these stupid cargo haulers. Nothing ever happens on these deliveries. It's boring."
Fargo: "Come on Graves. It's easy money. Also, she's kind of cute, in an 'I will murder you' kinda way."
Graves: "You know the rules Fargo."
Fargo: "Yessir. Don't mess with hiring manager." salutes and grins
Graves: "Let's get this over with. So we can go home."

Journal entry #GF001: (Graves and Fargo)
Graves: (laying in a make-shift hammock) "Never made a journal before, but Captains orders. That was just about the most fun I've ever had."
Fargo: (swinging on a railing in the background) "Did you see that! She pulled out a light saber and cut two guys in half then threw it at a third!"
Graves: "Shut up Fargo. I'm trying to journal here. Captains orders."
Fargo: "It was awesome. I'm glad she said yes."
Graves: "I am too Fargo. For once I feel like something big is ahead of us but she is the key. We need to keep her safe Fargo. You got me?"
Fargo: (stands at attention and salutes) "Yessir Captain sir."
Graves: "I'm not your captain anymore Fargo. Just your brother. I will keep you safe. She will too. That's why this crew needs to stick together. She pays well and means well. We have to do good work for her if she's gonna keep us on deck."
Fargo: "I'll work hard Graves. Promise."

Important Assets: Hand-crafted dual blade light saber, YTS-40, 2 speeder bikes (a BARC speeder with side-car and heavy weapons mount; and a rapid response BARC speeder; both are stripped of paint and weaponless), enough credits for fuel and load costs (Raul runs finances and does a good job), an A-180 blaster pistol, one 773 Firepuncher configurable long range blaster rifle with grapple hook attachment and homing beacon deployer, handheld box scanner (for tracking homing beacons on planets), Donk, Konk, Loadmaster Raul Gonthulez, Graves and Fargo Thassin (my gunners and cargo movers)

YTS-40 assets: YTS-40’s are known for their unique fingerprint-like load outs. Originally built for civilian use, the utility of the ship line was recognized by the Republic. Republic used these vessels for scouting and supply delivery. This earned the YTS-40 a Ranger classification. This specific YTS-40 has the below:
Recon package long range scanner, twin laser cannon chin turret, twin laser cannon turret dorsal mounted, twin laser cannon turret port side mounted, disguised starboard mounted quad ion torpedo array, aftermarket heavy armor plating, converted cargo bay 1 to brig, both port and starboard cargo decks are elevators for easy additional cargo loading and storage (currently housing BARC speeders)
Other: Graves and Fargo are a pair of mid-20s brothers I picked up from an alley on a backwater planet named Tatooine. They enjoy gambling our cargo away and smooth-talking me into fighting their creditors. Raul is my loadmaster and manifest editor. He pulls in a stable income to keep our ship afloat and the food and drink plentiful. We have a small savings account for random bounty hunting items that need replacing but large purchases will have to come from working hard or a slick discount issued from Mirage's 'infinite coupons' (her hands).
