A joint statement from the Chief of Naval Operations’ Office and the Imperial Security Bureau stated that travelers in the Western Reaches should expect increased restrictions to movement in the coming weeks, as the military pacification operation ramps up security measures in order to quell the recent outburst of terrorist activity from emboldened Separatist splinter groups in the region.
The Navy advises citizens to prepare for increased waits at all checkpoints and reminds travelers to have their chain-codes ready at all times in the event of an inspection. The Navy also reminds citizens that only through their complete and continued cooperation can the Western Reaches pacification operation be brought to a positive conclusion.
The statement ended with a quote from Imperial Security Bureau Director Wullf Yularen; “These terrorists are heavily armed and aim to do great harm to the peaceful citizens of our Empire. Remember: if you see something, say something. It might just save a life.”
